McKinnon Park Blue Devils win high school boys’ lacrosse title

By Brian Smiley The McKinnon Park Blue Devils boys’ lacrosse team on Friday showed they will be a squad to be reckoned with when the OFSAA championship begins June 3. The Blue Devils went undefeated at the CWOSSA A championships last week and on Friday beat the Assumption College Lions 9-3 to win the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk lacrosse championship. Eagles win bantam boys rugby championship

By Brian Smiley St. John’s College captured the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk bantam boys rugby championship on Thursday. SJC defeated Assumption College 53-0 in the final with Jake Hall scoring three tries. David Rich, Cainan Martin, Justin Ladd, Joseph Szarka, Logan Harrison and Cole MacNaught got one each. Assumption’s Dropko doubles down at CWOSSA track
