Runner makes splash at high school track championship
By Brian Smiley Eytan Mirie made a splash – literally – in his Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk open boys 2,000-metre steeplechase debut. Competing in the first event at the AABHN championship at Kiwanis Field on Thursday, the Grade 11 student from Valley Heights Secondary School won the event in six minutes, 42.63 seconds. North Park having great success despite lack of goals in girls soccer

Saint commits to Cleary University for soccer
St. John’s College student Hailee Saint recently signed a letter of intent to attend NAIA’s Cleary University to attend the Michigan school on scholarship and play for the women’s soccer team.
