Eagles hoping to ‘push’ for senior boys volleyball title

After finishing as Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk senior boys volleyball runners-up a year ago, the St. John’s College Green Eagles are ready to take things one step further.

Playing at Assumption College on Thursday, St. John’s moved to 2-0 on the season following a 25-19, 25-20 and 25-21 win against the Lions.

“The goal is to make a push for an AABHN title,” said SJC coach Andrina Shannelly. “We know we have some competition out there this year just like we did last year.

“We want to make an appearance at CWOSSA this year.”
