Assumption’s Dropko doubles down at CWOSSA track

By Brian Smiley It was mission accomplished for Assumption College’s Foster Dropko this week at the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association track and field championship at Kiwanis Field. Dropko finished third in the junior boys 1,500-metre race on Wednesday and then followed that up with a second-place finish in the 3,000-metre race on Thursday. Mustangs capture CWOSSA Ultimate title

By Brian Smiley Brantford Collegiate Institute captured the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association ultimate frisbee championship this week at North Park Collegiate. BCI went 4-0 at CWOSSA, defeating Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk champion North Park Collegiate 5-3 in the final. The Athletic Association of Brant Haldimand Norfolk hosted its Soccer AA play-in games Tuesday at Bisons Alumni Field to determine the representatives for CWOSSA.
