Jeff De Prosperis was more than a high school teacher – he was a coach, mentor and proud booster of St. John’s College.
The local high school community lost one of its finest when De Prosperis, SJC’s department head of physical education, died on Sept. 29 at the age of 45 following a lengthy illness.
