Sabres soccer dominance continues

The Simcoe Sabres continue to dominate its AABHN D9 opposition on the pitch, capturing both the girls and boys soccer titles at McLaughlin Park in Delhi on Tuesday.

The Sabres captured its seventh-straight girls soccer title thanks to a 4-1 win over the Holy Trinity Titans.

In the boys final between the Sabres and Titans, nothing was decided in regulation and overtime with the sides knotted at 1-1. The Sabres came away with its second-straight title with a 3-2 victory.

CWOSSA

Boys

The Sabres will participate at the CWOSSA boys AA championship May 29 and 31. Kiwanis Soccer Complex in Owen Sound.

Girls

The Sabres will take part in the CWOSSA AA girls championship on May 30 and June 1 at Bisons Alumni/North Park Sports Complex and Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre.

The Cayuga Warriors will represent AABHN at the CWOSSA girls A championship at McLaughlin Park in Delhi on June 1.
