The Assumption College Lions hot start to the AABHN senior boys basketball season was cooled on Tuesday night by Brantford Collegiate Institute.

Following a pair of Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk wins to start things off, the Lions (2-1) were beaten 74-45 by the two-time defending champion Mustangs (3-0) at home.
