The St. John’s College senior girls volleyball team finally met its match.
Hosting McKinnon Park Secondary School on Thursday in Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk action, the Green Eagles (1-1) were defeated 25-15, 11-25, 25-23 and 25-16 by the Blue Devils (2-0).
It was the first loss in two seasons for SJC’s senior team, which are two-time defending AABHN champions.
