Brantford Collegiate Institute’s novice boys cross-country team is heading to OFSAA.

BCI’s team of Kyle Currie (fifth), Grayson McGowan (ninth), Carson Vukelich (21st) and Luke McStravick (25th) finished first overall in the novice boys division at the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association championship at Greens at Renton near Simcoe on Thursday.

Teams finishing either first or second qualify for the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations championship, which will take place on Nov. 4 in Ottawa.
