St. John’s College captured the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk bantam boys rugby championship on Thursday. SJC defeated Assumption College 53-0 in the final with Jake Hall scoring three tries.

David Rich, Cainan Martin, Justin Ladd, Joseph Szarka, Logan Harrison and Cole MacNaught got one each.

Rich kicked four converts. SJC beat Simcoe’s Holy Trinity Catholic High School 40-5 in its opening game as Szarka led the way with three tries. Grayson Long, Emmett Perkins, Hall and Rich got one apiece with Rich also kicking five converts.
