Mustangs earn second straight girls hockey win

Good teams find ways to win when they aren’t at their best and that’s what the Brantford Collegiate Institute girls hockey team did on Wednesday.

Playing McKinnon Park Secondary School at the Gretzky Centre in Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk action, the Mustangs defeated the Blue Devils 3-1.

BCI (2-1-0) dominated play against MPSS (0-4-0) and the score could have been much higher. However, the Mustangs missed the net on a ton of shots and on others, instead of picking corners, they fired the puck at Peyton Vyse-Hill.
