More than three months of hard work and dedication paid off this week for the Assumption College Lions senior football team when it captured the OFSAA Northern Bowl at Acumen Stadium in Windsor.
Facing Thunder Bay’s Hammarskjold High School on Monday in one of nine Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations Bowl games, the Lions scored a 21-4 victory over the Vikings.
