With time winding down in the AABHN boys hockey season opener on Tuesday, Assumption College coach Mike Bednarz must have been thinking here we go again.

Tied 1-1 with North Park Collegiate at the Gretzky Centre late in the third period, the Lions were able to score with 17 seconds remaining for a 2-1 win.

The late goal allowed ACS to avoid something that happened six times a year ago in Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk acton.
