Panthers have ‘pretty solid’ senior boys volleyball team

As the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk senior boys volleyball league winds its way to a conclusion, the Paris District High School Panthers have left little doubt that they’re in the mix for a championship.

Paris (8-2) defeated Brantford Collegiate Institute (3-6) 25-21, 25-16, 18-25, 24-26 and 15-11 on Thursday at BCI to solidify its hold on second place.

Panthers coach Rich Dela Rosa was confident he’d have a good this season team based on the seniors who returned and the juniors who graduated.
