Panthers and Mustangs to play for girls fastball championship

Paris District High School and Brantford Collegiate Institute will play for the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk girls fastball championship.

Playing on Wednesday, Paris shut out North Park Collegiate 15-0 in the quarter-finals before beating defending champion McKinnon Park Secondary School 9-3 in the semifinals.

BCI beat Assumption 10-0 in the quarter-finals and Delhi District Secondary School 12-0 in the semifinals.

The final is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at Green Lane Park in Paris at 1:30 p.m.
