Paris District High School’s girls soccer team was in the thick of the playoff race right up until the last game of the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk season.

Facing North Park Collegiate on Monday and needing at least a point to advance past the regular season, the Panthers were beaten 8-0 by the Trojans at Bisons Alumni North Park Sports Complex.
