Paris District High School graduate Emily Pigott (right) will be attending Mohawk College to study and play volleyball for the Mountaineers. “Emily is someone who’s immediately going to come in and have an impact in our lineup,” Mohawk coach Kelsey Kovar said. “She has a really high IQ and really understands the game well.” Aside from playing for PDHS, Pigott played for the Brant Youth Volleyball Club, where she now coaches. She will study photography at Mohawk, which has won back-to-back Ontario Colleges Athletic Association medals.
