The St. John’s College Green Eagles girls rugby team has come a long way in less than a week.
After playing Assumption College last week in an exhibition game that was sloppy due to weather and first-game jitters, the Eagles opened the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk season with a 15-5 win against Waterford District High School on Monday at Pauline Johnson Collegiate.
