The Assumption College Lions are bridesmaids no more.

Hosting the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association AAA senior girls basketball championship this weekend, the Lions were finally able to capture an elusive CWOSSA title with a convincing 61-38 win over Orangeville District Secondary School in the final on Saturday.
